About

A little about me

I was born in the Baltics — Lithuania — and raised with a deep appreciation for getting the fundamentals right — the belief that lifestyle and routine lay the foundation for everything that medicine can accomplish.

I completed my undergraduate training at Loyola University Chicago, earning a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Fine Arts. I went on to receive my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University, and completed my Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in the heart of Chicago, where I served as chief resident. I am board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In 2022 I moved to Austin, Texas, where I met the love of my life, and we decided to build our life here. Outside of the operating room, you will find me on a Pilates reformer, on a yoga mat, skiing, or outdoors with my dogs.

Clinical Philosophy

The foundation comes first

I was raised in a family that understood something medicine often overlooks: surgical and medical intervention make the greatest impact when the foundation is already right. Lifestyle, movement, and routine are not afterthoughts — they are the conditions under which care works.

This belief shapes everything about how I practice. I am not here to offer a quick fix. I am here to understand the full picture, intervene precisely where needed, and support you in building the conditions for lasting results.

What this means for you

Your care plan addresses not just the surgical or medical intervention, but the context around it — movement, recovery, and long-term health integration.

Why it matters

Surgery is a tool, not a destination. What happens in the operating room matters — and so does everything that follows. The outcomes I care about extend well beyond the procedure itself, into your quality of life afterward.

Robotic Surgery

Why the da Vinci robot

I deliver the type of care I would expect to receive myself, given the knowledge I have gained through training and practice. The da Vinci robotic system allows me to work with precision in a small space, offers superior visualization of endometriosis lesions, and provides a degree of instrument control that minimizes damage to surrounding structures.

If I needed gynecologic surgery, I would seek out a surgeon who uses the best available tools. That standard is what I bring to every case.
